Typos α Mediocrity
Nowhere else (not even at Hunter College, CUNY) have I ever witnessed the number of typos in academic handouts than at my school. Not only are they sometimes misleading (to the point of really making a student nuts in trying to make sense out of them) but they are actually funny:
“What is unique about the nucleotide linkage in lariat formation during spicing?”
“Assembly ofa preinitiation complex…results from the interaction of several actiators with various multiprotein co-sactivator complexes, including shromatin remodeling complexes…”
